Vintage Shopping in Kraków: What to Expect on My Walk

If you are thinking of joining me for a vintage shopping walk in Kraków, you probably want to know what we actually do. Fair question. We spend around two hours in Kazimierz, visiting selected vintage and second-hand shops and the streets between them. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Where do we go?

We stay in Kazimierz. I guide you through selected independent shops, with neighbourhood stories and time to look around. The walk between shops is part of the experience too: you get to see the area, not just a series of interiors.

There is no fixed item you are expected to find. Stock in second-hand shops changes, so a specific jacket or dress cannot be promised in advance.

What happens inside a shop?

There is time to browse. You might head for a rail of clothes, stop at a display, or ask me about something that catches your eye. If a shop feels full of choices, you can start with one rail rather than trying to see everything at once.

I share local context as we go. You do not need any knowledge of fashion history to take part, and you can spend your time looking rather than shopping.

Buying something is optional. It does not change the walk if you leave a shop empty-handed.

Who is the walk for?

You might be visiting Kraków, or you might live here and be curious about Kazimierz’s independent shops. You may already love vintage, or this might be your first time looking through a second-hand rail. Either way, you can come on your own or with other people.

The walk is private for you or your group, with a maximum of ten guests. I lead it in English or Polish. Comfortable shoes are a good idea; there is no particular way you need to dress.

The choice of what interests you stays yours. That is a small point of connection with my New Ground work, but this walk is not a coaching session. It is an afternoon exploring a neighbourhood together.

How do I arrange a walk?

Send me your preferred date and how many people would join — even if it is just you — through the enquiry form. I will reply personally, and the booking is confirmed when I send you a confirmation email. You can check the current group rates and what is included in the tour details.

If you would like to know more about why I enjoy these places in the first place, I wrote about it in Why Vintage Was Never Really About Clothes for Me.

If the walk sounds like your kind of afternoon, send me a date and I will let you know what is possible.
